New year, new blog!

Hey everyone!

The past few weeks have been CRAZY!  I have had a lot going on, not only with photography, but I headed back to classes on the 12th! So what has been going on?  I’ve been doing a lot of senior portraits and a few models!  Molly and I ran the “Fresh in 09″ Contest which wrapped last week and unfortunately we haven’t chosen a winner yet.  Why you may ask…because we had over 50 fantastic entries!  We had some people come up with some great answers as to why they should win the free shoot, and custom myspace layout.  We should be deciding on a winner this week…and don’t forget that even if you don’t win, you get $10 off your shoot and 1/2 off Makeup with Molly in Febuary.

So here is a little bit of what has been going on in January:

Also, I have been working on an all new CAITLINTPHOTOGRAPHY.com! Also working on some promo videos for myself and Miss Black Barbie for Model of the Year!

August!

Although it is only mid-August, it feels as though it is all down hill form here. I start classes next week (the 20something-th) and so shooting will die down from here on out. But, I have had some good times in the past few weeks!

Since my last post I had the pleasure of shooting with the fabulous Nekah (Black Barbie). We started with some basic shots and then worked on my “music” idea.

And, of course, I shot the wedding of Lindsey and Shawn on August 3rd, which was a ton of fun!

During the next week I did a shoot with Flick from B94 (listen to him at night! 93.7)

Two of the other shoots I am not releasing the photos from yet. One was a shoot for Ricky P and E. at Krobar in the Strip. We started here and got all of the models ready and then shot down there. It was a good time! The second was a shoot for Faded Industry Ent for a flyer for their “Wallz n Dollz” event at Privilege next month so be on the lookout for that!

I will catch everyone in the next few weeks! I am off to prepare for Kristen and Arne’s wedding tomorrow!

Even more and SHOOT CAM!

Hey all!

The past week has been filled with LOTS more shoots, meetings and preparing for my first wedding tomorrow!

On Wednesday, Molly and I had a shoot with Tara. I started my first ever “shoot cam video”. I will be doing these on a lot of model shoots (and anyone else who asks for one!) We had a ton of fun and shot in the studio, and then went downtown and shot in a parking garage and PPG place! Check out the video, photos, and some photos from my other recent shoots!

A wild few weeks!

Hey!

So I haven’t updated this thing in forever! The past few weeks have been busy! With a bunch of shoots and two weddings in a 3 week time frame…well I’ve been BUSY!

Here are some of my favorite shoots from the past two weeks!

Jessica, Andy and Baby-
Jessica found me through her sister (Carley) and we did a pre-baby shoot!

Corianne and Brigitte- Senior photos
I had both a studio and a location session with Corianne and Brigitte (and Corianne’s adorable puppy!) and then we headed up to the West End overlook for some location shots!

Madison, Andrew and soon-to-be Baby Ashton
Be on the lookout for photos of Ashton when he finally arrives in August!

Deonna-
Molly and I had a really fun shoot with Ms. Deonna (and her friend who escorted)! Deonna was awesome and so much fun to work with! We started off in the studio with some basic shots and then did a “paint” theme. I just repainted the studio so the theme was perfect! Then we went up to Riverview for some location shots with Deonna (and her puppy).

Be on the look out for a ton more shoots (and two weddings) coming in the next few weeks!

New Shoots!

The past week has been great for shooting! On Thursday I had a shoot with Lori. It went really well! We shot just before sunset on Observatory Hill…

On Saturday I had a shoot with Nikkimoose in the studio. Molly did makeup and Ali from Bombshell Boutique did wardrobe.

Today I did a shoot with Allyson and Chris for their engagement. We also did a few photos with their son Brandon. It was a good time!

So basically, it was a great week! Let’s see what next week brings!

Creepy men and cops

So yesterday I started my internship and when I got home I realized the weather was decent. So I called up Lenka and Nikki and we met in Bridgeville, PA and did a shoot! Let me tell you, we had a guy following us around, another following us down train tracks, cops stopping to talk to us…it was … funny. Note to self: start carrying pepper spray to location shoots!

Wednesday I have a shoot with Lori down at the Strip (our rescheduled shoot), and then Friday I have the shoot with Camille with jeweled makeup (by Molly of course…she is finally coming home), and clothing by Down With Fashion (Bombshell Boutique).

Stupid rain!

So today I was supposed to have two location shoots down at the Strip District. Well of course I had no luck and it rained all day so both of them had to be canceled. I was really looking forward to both too…oh well, they can be rescheduled!

The garage at my house was torn down today…huge mess. So unfortunately I cannot really schedule any studio work until everything is cleaned up this weekend. SIGH.

So…I uploaded a few of the “behind the scenes” photos. I plan on getting some fun shoots to share with everyone!
